Azure - Chapter 17Chapter XVII Martha Xantir awoke to an overwhelming musky smell, accompanied by obscuring darkness and the faint silhouettes of two figures in front of her. She didn't remember much, aside from the fact that Chief Jack Fallout threw her out of his office after she learned that Chrono-Splice had escaped Crimsonite. She looked over that thought in her head. His name is Elray, she thought. He's my son, not some object. No matter how many times she rolled this over subconsciously, the answer was the same, a resounding no. No, he wasn't her son. No, she didn't protect him when she needed to, she put her job before her own child. Then,Azure - Chapter 17

Azure - Chapter 16Chapter XVI The morning awoke Elray from his slumber before his own mind could. The sun, which Elray had noticed to be dimmer than Crimsonites morning sun, shined in his eyes just like it had the previous morning. The blue sky reflected the light, making the sun seem brighter than it actually was. In reality, Elray woke himself up after sleeping for a very long period. He checked the clock. It must have been at least nine or ten hours since he fell asleep. He sat up groggily and massaged the sleep out of his eyes. Then, he jumped out of his bed with an energetic flair. Quickly, but cautiously, Elray crept out of his room andAzure - Chapter 16

Chrono-Splice - Section IntrosA Brief Overview and History of the Chrono-Splice Project, Part I -RMV Time travel is among the most sought-after abilities for all human beings. Though scientifically irrational, some believe it to be true. In reality, this amazing concept is entirely real. The advent of the streamline somewhat illustrated the use of concentrated time to create a time-distortion field. But the one question that lingered was, Can we time travel without the use of machines? The question is answerable, and all that is needed is one human life. No more, no less.Chrono-Splice - Section Intros

Azure - Chapter 15Chapter XV Surprisingly, there wasnt as much traffic in Azuria as Elray thought. The ship was able to land safely at another port amidst the blue sky. When Elray departed from the ship, Aeron quickly left the controls and zipped back into Elrays subconscious. Once again, Elray was greeted with silence. This port, as well, was empty. Elray wandered the halls, unaware of what to do. He couldnt exactly jump back up to another prison and live his life again. He took a seat on one of the steel benches that almost mirrored those of the Crimsonite port. The only difference was that these particular benches were paintedAzure - Chapter 15

Crimson - Chapter 14Chapter XIV The day began with an almost eerie light. Elray could tell, because the morning sun had shone straight through the bars in the window and into his face. This woke him up, although he had received more than enough sleep to give him the energy he needed for the escape. Elrays cell looked even drearier than it did the day before. Over time, it seemed to have deteriorated. Either that, or Elray had some false perception as to how the room looked when he first set eyes on it. Elray wondered how Aeron was doing as he disabled the chip. He could feel the effects fade. It seemed that everywhere Elray looked;Crimson - Chapter 14

In descent, life unveiling A web of truths, thought derailing Into something better. I ask to you, Why do you taunt me, why do I bear your burden, your cold, your suffering Even past the glass barriers? And knowing This, I look out the window, past the glass And I gaze upon your face, out above the grass And rocks, the gloomy earth, the dead of all I want to take you with me, to embrace my fall From grace into mania. O, angel, in your grace I kneel before your majesty, tears on my face That never existed until now.
